Fire Fighters for Muscular Dystrophy (FFMD) is a proud partnership between Edmonton fire fighters and Muscular Dystrophy Canada. For over 70 years, firefighters across the country have united to support Canadians affected by neuromuscular disorders through fundraising, awareness, and community engagement.
Our department continues that tradition of service — both on and off duty. From rooftop campouts and boot drives to local events and charity initiatives, we’re committed to helping those living with muscular dystrophy lead fuller, more independent lives.
We’re more than first responders — we’re neighbours, volunteers, and advocates who believe in making a difference, one dollar and one act of kindness at a time.
